iPhone 8 , iPhone X users now get latest iOS 11 software update which comes with wireless charging pads to power their devices. Apple’s will add support for faster wireless charging for the Qi-compatible smartphones at a rate of 7.5 watts, an improvement over the current 5-watt limit allowed by iOS 11.1.1. Updating your phone isn’t enough to boost your charging speed, however. You’ll need the proper wireless charging pad to take advantage of the faster charging feature. The company is now expected to put on iOS 11.2 that will focus on improving wireless charging time.
I think this is one of the biggest software update for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch series. wireless charging is markedly slower than direct charging via USB cable, and even with that boost to 7.5 watts, the iPhone 8 and iPhone X will charge more slowly using wireless charging pads compared to the Samsung Galaxy S8, which supports 9-watt quick-charging with the proper charging pad.Soon after Apple released iOS 11 globally, reports poured in that the revamped Control Centre surprisingly doesn’t completely disconnect Bluetooth and Wi-Fi even after you turn it off. This update adds three new live wallpapers for the iPhone X.iOS 11.2 will also introduce Apple Pay Cash, which will allow person-to-person money transfer via iMessage. It also brings a change for developers who offer recurring subscriptions—they’ll be able to charge introductory rates.
Apple has been trying to fix different bugs. Apple fixed that bug in the Calculator app where your input was waiting for long animations to play out. We don’t have any official announcement for launch date for iOS 11.2.
